Vanessa Hudgens responds to ex Austin Butler’s Elvis voice

Vanessa Hudgens was silent last week when her ex-boyfriend of nine years, Austin Butlerher on social media a’friend‘ mentioned. The two broke up in January 2020 while Butler Elvis was filming and are now both dating someone else (Butler with Kaia Gerber and Hudgens with Cole Tucker).

But yesterday felt Vanessa Hudgens apparently finally ready to publicly voice her opinion on the much-discussed Austin Butler voice change — and yes, it was pretty shady (which she thinks is fair, since rumor has it that their relationship collapsed because Butler cheated on her sister).

Austin Butler still speaks with his Elvisaccent, something that has put the audience in quite an uproar. Instagram user Ryan Scott suggested on the platform that Butler’s decision to talk that way is part of his awards season campaign to win over voters. “He went to Lady Gaga school for campaign acting,” Scott wrote, sharing a tweet from Page Six citing an interview his voice coach gave about his accent.

‘Crying,’ Vanessa Hudgens responded to this, and she also liked the Instagram message.

When the couple was still dating was Vanessa Hudgens an enthusiastic supporter of Austin Butler who play the role of Elvis pursued. During a Live with Kelly and Ryaninterview in 2019, she said, “Last December we were driving the car and listening to Christmas music, and then an Elvis Presley Christmas carol came along. The two have since stopped following each other on Instagram.
